Welcome to the Canterbury Philharmonia Website.
The Canterbury Philharmonia is an amateur symphonic orchestra based in Christchurch, New Zealand. We rehearse weekly towards three concerts held during the year. Led by conductor Mark Hodgkinson, the Philharmonia plays a wide range of orchestral music, including works by New Zealand composers.
